The International Patient Relations Department provides a single point of contact,
service and coordination for international patients and their families. International
inquiries for treatment are reviewed through an evaluation and treatment protocol,
including an assessment by a multi-disciplinary team. International Patient Service
ensures communication and customer needs.
As Medicana International Hospitals (İstanbul and Ankara), we provide different
ranges of services to support patients and patient accompanies coming from abroad
in the treatment process.
Transportation:
Discount ticket service can be provided to our patients and patient accompanies
coming from abroad in the framework of our agreement with Turkish Airlines, Medical
Tourism Package. Besides this, in the ticket change operations arising out of prolonging
treatment durations, no extra price will be charged.
Transportation to the Hospital
Incoming patients and patient accompanies from abroad have been welcomed by hospital
staff and interpreters in the airport and are transferred to the hospital by our
hospital service car and after treatment, they also transferred to airport and they
are escorted to the police control.
Food Services
For foreign patients and patient
accompanies, 3 main meals (Morning-Afternoon-Evening) and 3 snack meals are served.
The foods that will be served to patients are prepared according to doctor suggestions
and examined by nutritionist. Food and drink service are included in the package
price and no extra price will be charged.
Other Services
Our patient rooms are for
one person only but there are couches that can be formed as beds for the patient
accompanies. Besides this, 24 hour satellite broadcast and laundry services to meet
the needs of all patients and patient accompanies are also available.
VISITING PATIENTS
"Visiting Hours are daily from 09:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. If you are visiting after 21:00 p.m. enter through the Emergency Service Entrance. you and your patient are at the hospital, you have the responsibility and rights;
- to provide accurate information and to be available to the health-care team either
personally
- to take care of your personal property and valuables and to respect the hospital
property and regulations
- to recognize that the needs of other patients and families may sometimes be more
urgent than your needs
- to treat staff and other families in a considerate, courteous and cooperative manner
- to arrange payment for all expenses not covered by your insurance company during
your treatment
